Well, at almost 6 months old (Can't believe how fast this is going! :( ), we decided it was time to give the Prez a taste of the good stuff...well maybe not really the good stuff (unless you like rice cereal like my good friend, Amber ), but the stuff that leads to the good stuff...good old organic rice cereal.
To say she was less than impressed is an understatement. I guess formula is just so much tastier. :)

So, we shall try again tomorrow. Honestly, I am more excited for her to try the fruits and veggies. I had so much fun making her brother's baby food a couple years ago. All the different combos were so fun to come up with. I'll never forget giving him green beans for the first time and him gagging with each bite. Too funny. Obviously to this day, he is not a lover of green beans. :) This site was an amazing tool for me as a first time mom, who wanted to make my own baby food! I used it a TON! I have no idea if I'll have the time, or let's face it, the energy this time around to make the Prez's baby food, but I plan to try! So, remember as you are eating your yummy meals tonight, that at least you aren't having to eat plain old rice cereal like the Prez! :)

ps...if you know the Prez in real life, you might be amazed that she doesn't have a huge bow/flower on, she wanted me to let you know that sometimes at home,
she likes to relax bow-free. :) but in case you don't recognize her without a bow, here a recent pic from her monthly shoot.
She doesn't look too disgusted with the rice cereal! You should see little Miss S' pictures from when she first tried it. She was repulsed, but wanted more at the same time!
